the miracle

Go back in time with me. Remember back during that time you felt your own strength? You felt brilliant in that moment. You felt alive. You felt effective. Remember thinking, "is this what I'm here on Earth to do"? Remember the power you felt? Remember how nothing else seemed to matter, and there was no debate that could stand up against you? You were right. Nothing...NOTHING can outmatch the strength of being IN THE PULL.

We've each encountered our own PULL once or a dozen times over the years. And yes, the voices were real. God's grand, aint He? He patiently keeps telling & pointing the way to our own brilliant selves. Sometimes we listen, and sometimes it's just easier to notice it and pass it off as a notion or a whim.

Most of my life has been spent in the PUSH. Always coming up with ways to motivate myself to get up and go beyond where I was at that time. Sometimes it worked. For awhile. But I never felt the Power of what I'm feeling now. I'm now more in the PULL!

Yesterday I used to make myself focus. "Focus" doesn't seem as necessary as it once did. Yesterday I made myself set goals that I never met. And I looked and searched for ways to move faster. Today I can't seem to take a break from my passion. I don't want to. Yesterday had many obstacles to figure out and analyze and battle against. Today obstacles are still there. But my vision can't seem to pick them up as easily as I did then. And when I can't see 'em, golly are they really there?

So where inside of you is your PULL?

It's there. Right there. Stickin' out of your WHY. My friend you can either continue to PUSH yourself to DO something that you're not sure is what you want to do anyway, or you can take the advice of your 3rd grade crossing guard Miss Hipple who told you to "STOP, LOOK & LISTEN".

Stop for a moment and just BE. If you don't know how, then that's a great place to start. Take a look at who you are, what you love, what are some of the things in life that just Blow your skirt UP? Listen to the voice that you've been drowning out with those noisy "yeah buts" and "busy-busy". Let yourself Wake up a bit more to your own authentic self!

Your PULL is found in your Purpose. When you know what you're here to do, when your life MEANS something, when you fall in love with yourself and with the realization that life IS purposeful and has been so all along, then you're scootchin' your rocket ship over to the RIGHT launch pad baby! It's time to get crystal clear on your vision. Your dream. Your purpose. You can't be fuzzy with it. To unleash the Power of the Pull, your dreams must be in clear view (sharply defined, so much so that you can literally see it when you close your eyes).

Your vision, your purpose (your WHY) holds your Power. And the more vivid your vision, the more propelling your power.

When you start a project from the PULL, you fall into what feels like a magnetic field and you can't help but move forward.

When you're living more in the PULL, something different is present. Your life and all its choices start to take on a common characteristic. They more and more become an outward expression of WHO YOU TRULY ARE (vs. who you've been trying to be). Your life lines up with you! Your actions and words become effortlessly in sync with your convictions and values.

Try this...
Give yourself permission to DREAM once again. You'll have to get rid of all that mind chatter that's been hounding you all this time. Throw it a bone or something to keep it busy for now.

Let yourself experience that part of yourself who's been wanting to come out and PLAY. Listen, it's THAT part of you that holds the POWER to move forward thru what would otherwise look like roadblocks and obstacles. Tap your inner PULL. Hint: It lives in your spirit, not in you mind...that's where "motivation" lives. Your spirit is where the good stuff lives, like FAITH & LOVE & ADVENTURE.

Go there and find your Passion. Go there and find your Power. Go there and find your call. Go there and find your God.
